Achieving the Certificate of Advanced Study
For management professionals looking to distinguish themselves from their industry peers, and gain incredible practical insights into the management sciences, the ACAS is the right choice. The requirements for the ACAS includes 2 years (4,000 hours) of demonstrable management experience, agreement to comply with the AIMS Professional Code of Conduct, and successfully passing three (3) written of the four (4) subject area examinations in the areas identified above.
Written exams are made available to you on a scheduled day and time at an authorized testing center. The exam is 65 to 200 randomly selected multiple choice questions from a test bank of thousands of questions, so no two exams will ever be the same, and even the multiple choice answers are scrambled differently for each test, so you will need to prepare and really know the material.
For your ACAS you should select a field that you have some practical experience in. AIMS has a number of training partners available at discounted prices to assist you in your mastery of the material.
