Individual Membership
AIMS is committed to a global membership base and truly being an international organization that represents the interests of the management sciences around the world. To this end, individual membership in the American Association of Management Scientists is free of charge. As an individual member you are able to:
- Participate and vote on Congresses
- Vote for Advisory Board Members
- Petition the Executive Director to Sponsor a Congress
- Participate on a Committee
- Sit for an AIMS Exam
- Attend an AIMS Sponsored Industry Event
Premium Membership
The Premium Membership dues are $65 a year, plus a $10 one time fee to cover the initial processing costs of joining the association. You receive all of the benefits of the Individual Membership plus:
- $100 discount on exam fees
- Submit articles at no cost for publication in the AIMS Journal of Management Sciences ($35 value per submission)
- Submit proposals for textbook or SME books at no cost ($75 value per submission)
- The invitation to be elected to the AIMS Advisory Board should you desire
- The invitation to act as a peer reviewer, with your contribution noted in the publication, for the AIMS Journal of Management Science should you desire (not associated with the article you reviewed but in a general category noting the contribution and effort of the reviewers, the process is double blind)
- A complimentary hard copy of the AIMS Journal of Management Science mailed to you each time the journal is published ($35 value)
- Digital copy of the AIMS Research Foundation newsletter and other foundation communications
To join as a premium member, register on the website and go to the online shopping cart to pay the membership fee. You will then receive additional communications concerning how to fully leverage the value of your Premium Membership.
