AIMS Subject Matter Experts

AIMS Subject Matter Experts (SME) are amazing individuals with wonderful drive, industry experiences, and terrific higher education credentials. SME's have formal education in an advanced field from some of the best and best known universities in the country, as well as deep practical knowledge from years of hands-on market driven successes. All curriculum is designed by experts, ensuring both relevant and rigors content.

Dr. Randell Orner

Dr. Orner holds a PhD in Business Administration, MBA in Marketing, MS in Information Technology Management, and a BS in Individualized Studies.  Dr. Orner is also certified in Project Management through CompTIA (Project+) and a Six Sigma Certified Green Belt.  In a desire to continue to learn and improve organizational efficiencies, he completed Six Sigma Lean training at the University of South Florida and holds a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Risk Management from the University of Florida.

Randell served 9 years in the US military as a biomedical engineer with over 10 years leadership experience and has worked on projects for NASA, Columbia Healthcare, and GE Clinical Services.  He is the Subject Matter Expert for several of AIMS Fast Track Certificates.

Mr. Abner Ivora

Abner Ivora holds three accredited degrees from US universities to include a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Management. He speaks English natively and is fluent and certified in Spanish. Abner holds certifications from Rutgers University and has graduated from several advanced human resource, emergency management, and labor relations training programs sponsored by SEIU, AFL-CIO, CLC, and FEMA.

Mr. Ivora is the Subject Matter Expert for several of the Human Resource Management programs.

Abner brings over 20 years of labor relations, social services, conflict resolution, and human resource oriented analysis and research to the table. He is currently active in the greater California area serving the employment and unemployment needs of the state’s workforce. In his capacity as Certified Job Steward for one of the nations major unions, he often represents employees in the workplace and helps find a resolution between the union and management.

Dr. Jim Aspinwall

Dr. Aspinwall earned his Ph.D. in Advanced Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati, he also holds an MBA in Qualitative Finance and a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts Math from The Ohio State University. Jim is a registered Actuary and the owner of Jaz, a financial markets research company focusing on derivative pricing analysis. Jim is also a Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida Southern College.

Dr. Aspinwell is the Subject Matter Expert for the Operations Management programs. Jim is a dynamic individual active in global financial markets and one of the most brilliant and respected mathematicians in the country.

Dr. Hasnain Rizvi

Dr. Rizvi is the AIMS Subject Matter Expert for our Six Sigma Green Belt and Yellow Belt Certifications and trainings. When not instructing, Dr. Rizvi manages high impact, mission-critical project portfolios and information services for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He was most recently with Amdocs Consulting where he managed a US$1.1 Billion Business Transformation Program. Prior to Amdocs, Hasnain spent nearly a decade in Southern California managing project portfolios for fortune 500 companies. Dr. Rizvi is a graduate of California Institute of Technology’s Project Management Program and he completed his PHD in 2006 in Business Administration. His research interests are Intellectual Property and IT Project Management.

Dr. Rizvi holds the following certifications: PMP, CSM, CISA, CISM, CPCU, CITP, CSSGB, CSSBB, CMBB and ITIL Foundations. He lives with his wife and children in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.

Mr. Mark Rupert

Mark A. Rupert holds an accredited US Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Mathematics and has worked in the technology industry for 25 years. He has held positions in Information Technology that include software development, project management, vendor management, and business technology consulting. He has also held software development director positions in multiple IT organizations ranging from small startup to fortune 100 companies. His experience has varied from working in the field of real-time systems to the high-level area of business information systems.

Mr. Rupert is the Subject Matter Expert for several AIMS Industry Professional programs.

Mark is the founder and President of The Rupert Group, Inc. a regional technology consulting consortium headquartered in Lakeland, FL. The Rupert Group provides IT Strategy and planning including Outsourced CIO Services, Business Technology Consulting, Custom Software Development, and Infrastructure Analysis and Services.

Mr. Rupert has worked with businesses to not only move their business applications to new platforms, but has been instrumental establishing and migrating IT infrastructures including data center move projects. Mr. Rupert has also been responsible for the implementation of SharePoint to business processes and collaboration platforms. In addition to this, he has worked with businesses to identify and implement new ERP systems that include such technologies as Microsoft Dynamics and Epicor. One of Mr. Rupert’s success stories was the conversion and integration of an aggregate company’s sales order entry, transportation, scaling, accounting and reporting systems from a home grown AS/400 system to a Microsoft Dynamics platform with a SQL Server backend.

Dr. David E. Lady

David is the President and CEO of Denver Colorado based American Institute of Management Sciences and the AIMS Research Foundation.

Dr. Lady holds four accredited degrees from US universities to include a regionally accredited Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Management of Technology & Engineering. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Science in Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Dr. Lady is a graduate of Marriott's Executive Training Program at the Aspen Institute, and has attended executive training in several areas of business and product innovation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

David also attended courses at the United States Defense Intelligence College, and graduated from the United States Army Intelligence School to served as a US Army Counterintelligence Agent in the 1980’s and early 1990s during the Invasion of Panama and the First Gulf War, seeing combat and earning his SSI Combat Patch with the 470th Military Intelligence Brigade. David was recognized by the country of Honduras for Counter-Intelligence activities within Honduran borders on a joint US / Honduran task force in 1990. He acted as a liaison with the US DEA for several Counter-Terrorism cases involving the Panama Canal and Central American regional stability, and conducted the 1990 Terrorism Threat Assessment Report on the Panama Canal.

David has broad academic research interests focused on business innovation, technology based economic game theory, and new product development. Dr. Lady is the Subject Matter Expert for several of AIMS programs.
